Autoquiry ("we", "us") operates autoquiry.com, a vehicle inspection marketplace. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account and order details: name, email, phone number, billing details (processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers).
- Vehicle details: VIN, year, make, model, mileage, location, listing links and inspection results.
- Seller contact details provided by a buyer requesting an inspection, or by the seller directly.
How we use it
- To arrange, perform and deliver vehicle inspections and reports.
- To ask a seller for permission to inspect their vehicle, by email or a one-time text message.
- To send receipts, report notifications and support replies.
Text messages (SMS)
Phone numbers are used only to send transactional messages about a specific inspection request. We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. See our SMS consent page.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run Autoquiry (payments, email, text delivery, hosting), with the inspector assigned to a job, or when required by law. Published reports show vehicle details, never buyer payment information.
Your choices
You can request access to or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@autoquiry.com.
